PamCham's GMM, Induction & UACT Launching PDF Print E-mail

ImageOn February 26, 2009 at the Grand Ballroom of the Holiday Inn Clark Hotel in Pampanga, Pampanga Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. launched the Institutionalization of Multi Stakeholders Consultation for Trade Negotiations (I-MUST) of the Universal Access to Competitiveness and Trade (UACT) – a research think-tank that assures private sector consultation on policies and issues related to international trade negotiations. The IMUST project is funded by the British Embassy. The launching was graced by the British Ambassador to the Philippines, His Excellency Peter Beckingham, who personally handed the check representing the grant of P400,000.00 to PamCham Chairman Levy P. Laus and PamCham President Rene G. Romero. It was also the General Membership Meeting of the PamCham attended by 320 members and guests from the business sector not only in Pampanga but as far north as Baguio and Aurora, not to mention dignitaries from the mother chamber - Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry as well. Inducted during the GMM were the 15 recently elected Board of Directors as well as 28 New Members.
